Community Giving/Donations
We receive multiple requests weekly for donations, and to simplify the process for our small staff, we budget donations between November 1 and November 15 each year for the following year. If you would like to be considered for the following fundraising year, please let us know the details inside this window. Details needed are:
- Name of Organization
- Filing status (example 501c3)
- Organization Address
- Organization Website
- Contact Person and Phone Number
- Type of donation requested (be specific)
- Type of event if applicable, and details of event (example: cocktail party, concert)
- Purpose of donation (example: new hospital wing, animal rescue expenses)
When making your request, be sure that you are knowledgeable about our winery and tasting room by visiting our website at www.agwinery.com/visit-us. We will make our decisions in December and follow up with an email to your organization’s contact in January. We have taken the position that we do not donate to schools or activities involving the underage population. We give preference to military organizations. Virginia ABC forbids the donation or third-party acquisition of alcoholic beverages. Keep this in mind when making your request. Requests made outside of these parameters will be declined.
